Just have a pokemon learn toxic. Poison all alpha Pokemon and just run around until it dies. I managed to power level all my pokemon and gain tons of exp m & L candies.

You dont need to buy only small exp candies. The others are equivalent exp to shards wise so buy the best ones that you can

How do I get the xp candies to get bigger at the quasartico building for mega shards? Pokemon up to level 75 are able to obey me and yet this place is still only has small xp candies.

So if youve beaten the game (this is when i believe the mission first appears) you can do a mission with the pokecenter lady at the first pokecenter and you get a lucky egg as a reward. You can also buy bigger xp candies from quasartico post game.
